BluHorn TV Host Wes Benwick

Wes Benwick was born and raised in Jacksonville, and has been involved with Video and Audio production for the last 25 years. He began his professional career in Television in 1993 with WJCT at the age of 15 and has worked in nearly every aspect of the business, from live events, to studio and stage shows, as well as sports production with both regional and national networks including FOX, ABC & ESPN.

His experience with TV led him into the field of Information Technology where he graduated from FSU in 1999 with a degree in Computer Science. Since that time, he has found a way to continue his passion for audio & video production by incorporating it in each of the businesses he has been involved with. Currently he serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Client Focused Media and is the software Architect behind, a media buying and planning platform, as well as FileLogix, a document and records management application with customers across the globe.

Away from the keyboard and camera, Wes is a Realtor, and serves as the Managing Broker for; A modern, high tech and digitally focused agency, he has incorporated event based marketing as a core part of the business, producing parties and social events for clients, neighborhoods as well as sponsoring charity events, generating goodwill and relationships.
Wes has been actively involved with youth sports in Jacksonville, coaching both recreational soccer at JFC and Pop Warner football teams. He recently completed a 4 year term as President of Mandarin Athletic Association, one of the most successful and tenured youth sports leagues in Jacksonville. Currently, he serves on the board of the Ocean County Purveyors, a charitable organization whose mission is to raise funds, by “Partying For A Purpose”.

Married to Nicole, an elementary school teacher and licensed real estate agent, they have a combined family of 6 kids, ranging in age from 20 to 11, and are happy to call the southside of Jacksonville home.
